About the Best Place to Work in the Bay Area Survey

This year more than 500 companies competed for the top 130 spots on the Best Places to Work in the Bay Area list. Participating company’s rankings were determined by anonymous survey responses that were electronically distributed and completed by Bay Area based employees. In total 49,000 employees work for the 130 top companies who made the list. Every Bay Area based Athens employee was provided the opportunity to participate in the survey. The survey questions focused on trust of top executives, trust of co-workers, longevity at company, overall satisfaction with the company and feeling valued.
